school

Every Monday through Thursday when we drop Jack off at preschool, Melody whines asks ever so sweetly to go to school as well. Often we come home and play school instead. Melody loves this and will sit and color asking me how to spell things. Her favorite words to spell is Granddaddy. "How you spell Granddaddy?" she asks. As I spell it out for her, she will draw a little scribble for each letter. When she's finished she'll hold up her paper, "I did it!" she says proudly!
Lately we have been working on drawing shapes. She mastered the circle so quickly. Jack was much closer to three (if not three already) before he could draw a circle. Melody is so proud of her "school work!"

Wow! That second circle she drew is like REALLY a circle...almost perfect! And she did it so quickly. You might have yourself a prodigy! ;)

I love the videos you share. I need to do more of that!

She is so cute!! I am SUPER impressed with that circle! I have noticed that Grant seems to be learning some stuff a lot earlier than Henry did too!! I think it is because the older one helps the younger one learn stuff...sometimes better than we can help them!
