boys will be boys

The other day I told Jack to pick up his erector set before Charlie woke up. I kept catching him putting them in his mouth. He was spitting them into the container.

(I know you're all thinking you're never coming over here to play again!)

I got onto him several times and finally threatened a punishment. "Don't put them in your mouth again, or you won't be allowed to play wii tonight."

Then I caught him doing this....yes, he is blowing them into the container.

Really, there are no words.

Why do boys have to be so gross!? Seriously, what's next? Pull my finger?

seriously, dont they get the SPIRIT of the rule you are laying out? They manage to find a way around the letter of the law....maybe he will follow in Uncle Ben's footsteps??

UGH! I know how you feel. I used to just put whatever it was away for a week. I can't stand to see kids with stuff in their mouths (that isn't supposed to be there) I also hate to see me and teenaged bous walking around with toothpicks in their mouths. Anyone else hate that???

Must be the name. My Jack is doing the same thing and they are both very close in age. Too funny that you captured it on film though!!

Well, he did follow the rules, didn't he? Jack is destined to be a politician!

Girls are pretty gross too! Emma told me that she wiped a Mooger (their word for Booger) on Abby's bed the other night. But I will say the idea came from their father! Men & boys!
Great photos! save them for when he starts dating! Ha!

That sounds like my Izzy. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING scares that girl into doing what she is told. lol!

Gotta give him an A for effort though and he's so darn cute!

Sometimes we have to be so SPECIFIC when we ask them to do something...and that doesn't change when we marry them either...haha!

Oh Em. I have six boys and I'm afraid it does get a little grosser ... just a little less than enormously.

Hang on for your life.

That SO sounds like something that my boys would do! Just wait until Charlie starts joining in on all the gross boy fun!
