beans

It was a rainy after noon. At our house that means bored and stir crazy kids.
I wracked my brain trying to come up with an stolen original idea to keep them entertained while I sat around eating bonbons did housework. Then I remembered this post.
Thanks Lauren, for sharing your fun idea! It provided quite a bit of entertainment for these two.

The clean up, however...well let's just say you've been warned!

So fun! My kids like to play with rice! That's right...RICE! THat's is extremely fun to clean up! haha! They like to scoop it and run it through their hands! At least we get some time to relax and eat bonbons before we have to clean it all up ;)

I'm sure there was a lot of clean up, but they look like they are really having fun. I just love stolen, I mean original, ideas!

Kids love sorting objects! I used to take my kids to the library to play in their kids section. Free entertainment!!

Cute pics and blog. You looked like you were having a blast at the concert.

I like to leave a comment if I stalked a blog for fun. I popped over from a comment that you posted on another blog.

It was rainy here yesterday and gloomy today. I have no energy to do anything though!

Hmmm. As they get older, the games they play with beans are a little different. (and louder...)

Looks like they are definitely enjoying themselves!

Good idea! Though I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to try that!! Buster would probably either try to eat them or stick them in places they don't belong, and Buddy would probably throw them or put scads of them in his pockets for a nice surprise on laundry day.

I've given you an award, so if you'd like to play along, pick it up on my blog.

What a great idea! I might try this one day {but only when Eli is sleeping because those beans would go straight in his mouth!}. My kids are like wild animals when it is raining and we are stuck inside too!

Beans and Rice are awesome play tools. The girls love playing with them too but yeah, cleanup totally sucks. :)
