PSF - raise your hand if you think I'm being played

At her insistence, we moved Melody into a "big girl bed" a few weeks ago. The first week she was fine. She pretty much stayed in her bed, snug as a bug as we say. At bedtime this week she's been fine. Pretty much right to bed. Naptime, however, has been a different story.

Which makes me wonder: Does she get the idea of the big girl bed or not?

when I was small for some reason I always found the floor more comfy than the bed and I always fell asleep on the floor. My mom just placed me on the bed after I fell asleep.

Great photo friday

They all do that! She will figure it out soon!

Beds are for BEDTIME silly! Not for NAP TIME!

Ha ha! My sister had to consistently pick up her son off the floor (usually right next to the door). Needless to say he got bonked on the head quite a few times those first few weeks when she would open up the door to peek in on him!

So at least she's in the middle of the room!

that is so cute, and so normal! she'll figure it out eventually. they play, then fall asleep where they are. probably not about the bed at all!!!

So sweet! At least she's still sleeping. :-)

The naptime musing of Melody ~ "Why stay in bed when I can get out and play?"

Yep, she's finally realized that there's nothing keeping her in bed other than her own conscience. And we all know how dependable a 2 year old conscience can be, right?

And by the way ~ It felt sooo good to finally be able to spill the beans about John Thomas, didn't it?! I commend you on a job well done on that front. I know it had to be killing you to wait all this time. I could have done the same thing too, but it would've been eating me alive.

This is too funny! I suppose she just has a little resistance to nap time and tries to hold it out to the end.

I totally voted boy, too! ;)

Too funny! I'd be more afraid of our kiddo wandering around in his sleep (not that it runs in the family or anything...)

And those earlier pictures of licking the spoon... what a pretty kitchen from what you can see! :)

at least she is sleeping ! Too cute though on the floor. R stays in bed (mostly) but throws all but 2 stuffed animals onto the floor and he often be heard saying hi to them all by name when he should be sleeping! kids and their "friends"...crazy

LOL - that's hysterical. And adorable. Funny that we both posted about our kids at naptime - and they have almost the same bed in different finishes! She's a cutie.

That is so sweet. Hey at least she is napping. She will figure it out sooner or later. My daughter is almost 12 and around 1 in the morning she gets up uses the restroom and finishes the night on the couch. She does this about 4 nights a week. Who knows why.

Her dollies felt lonely all on the floor. She just had to join them! :)

Looks like she is at least sleeping well. One day the bed will be used more.

At least she stays in her room. My son comes down to my bed every night, and every night we put him back in bed two and three times, and then finally give up and get kicked the rest of the time! Those shots are adorable!
