And the award goes to Charlie!

Congratulations Charlie!!!

*cue flashing lights, music, applause, balloons dropping*

Sorry, I understand everyone thinks their child is the best, the most persistent, resourceful, etc.

But the decision has been made.

The award for Most Awesome Temper Tantrum goes to Charlie.

Still not convinced? Need proof?

Remember, you asked for it!

Wow...he definitely has talent...that was a full room touch every toy tantrum - not easy to pull off while screaming!!

Oh my goodness. Poor charlie (and poor mommy!). What was he upset about? I loved how he got quiet when he picked up the measuring tape, then realized it wasn't what he wanted and chucked it to continue crying.

And how cute is it that he scoots/moves around by turning himself on his butt. LOVE IT!

Is it wrong that I laughed hysterically during all of that? Especially when he got pissed at the tape measure and started up again!

Oh. My. Gosh.....now, I wish I would have worn water-proof mascara today, because I am CRYING from laughing so hard!!!

He definitely wins the award! :)

I was laughing the whole time...only because all three of mine have had similar fits before! What was he so mad about?!? I love that about half way through he got distracted and {almost} forgot that he was throwing a fit!!

Oh my gosh. Poor baby! The only reason I can say that is because it's not my baby. If it were my baby I'd probably be frustrated, tired, and fed up, but since he's your baby I can say, "AWWWWW! Poor baby!"

I too loved when he got quiet with the measuring tape then threw it when he realized that is not what he wanted.

Was he tired?

Oh.My. That was quite the hissy-fit circle he kept rolling around in! Waawaawaa - oh look, a measuring tape - waawaawaa! He's got stamina, I'll give him that.

Was it naptime, per chance? :)

Oh that was toooo funny! I love the rolling action to get to new things to throw! He was one angry little man!!

That is one unhappy little boy! Bless his heart! I love the measuring tape part about 1/2 way through! So funny!

About the 4 wheeler...that night I went to Walmart & found one the same size as that one. They had 2 left so I had to go ahead & get one!

This one is actually the one I got. They can press a button with their thumb to make it go & I think it plays music or something too. Plus it's cheap!

Phew, I thought I was the only one who videoed my children throwing tantrums. This!one is definitely a winner! Love the toosh-scoot around the room...hope the fit didn't last too much longer. It looked like he was headed your way for some mommy cuddling. :)

WHOA! Sorry, but I laughed through the entire video. What got him so ticked off? I love how he kept rolling closer and closer to you.

Oh, now that is GOOD, Congratulations, Charlie! haha! Watching from this end...that was too funny! Poor Rudolph! LOL! What had him so mad? I love how he stops and gets distracted, but wait a minute...I'M MAD! haha! Poor guy...poor mom! :)

you have to keep that video forever to show him when he is older. :-) I LOVED how he rolled around just looking for something to throw. Way to go you for keeping cool and catching it on film. It is so much easier to deal with moments like that when you think about the laughs you can have later vs. the frustration of dealing with it in the here and now.

Whew! I am exhausted from watching him. But it is amazing - he is absolutely still adorable while throwing a fit! (My girls always looked like little demons during their fits! : )

Okay, since I can't pause or stop the tantrums here, I sure had to stop Charlie. Wow! That's a doozy.

Oh my gosh...I am sorry, but the rolling towards the camera had me laughing. I should email you a fit I got on tape of Stunt man...a little more verbal but it is a close race between him and Charlie. I thought the measuring tape was the cure..but then no sir...thrown aside again. LOL
Poor guy.

OMG...for a second I thought that was Hayden except he falls backwards and holds his breath...blue lips and all.

Wow..it actually makes me feel better, I thought Hayden was the only one...I guess they all throw fits. Layla never did, so when Hayden started holding his breath I was freaking out!

Poor Charlie...I thought he was gonna stick his head in the oven when he pulled it open! LOL!

All on video, he's gonna love seeing that someday!

Sorry but thats hilarious! I feel bad for him but the way he scoots around the room screaming and throwing random things. Is great. He even stops to pause halfway.
Too much!

I tagged you on my blog, Go check it out.

Oh my. He is just beside himself! Poor thing. We have those same Step2 bowls that came with the kitchen. Every now and then I feel like throwing them too.

Ha Ha Ha poor guy... I love that you just got it all on tape! What was he so made about?! I love that he just made his way around the entire room while throwing the fit!

Oh, that kid is gonna LOVE you when he brings his first date home and you happen to have this playing on the computer...

Golly - that was some serious fit throwing! I couldn't help but laugh, then I just couldn't take his pitiful sad/mad face any longer than 1:17 - I just wanted to pick him up, give him some chocolate milk, tell him a story, and make him take a nap! What on earth prompted the trauma?

(Umm, is it bad to say that his rolling was so stinking cute I was giggling every time?) :)

HeatherOz said...

Wow! That is definitely Award Worthy! What started that fun tantrum?

heidi said...

WTH is his ISSUE?!?!? LOL That is seriously a FANTASTIC tantrum. He can totally OWN the award. LOL I love how he also managed to make his way all the way across the room to you! LOL
