PSF and God Bless Baby Jane

The Sacrament of Baptism is my favorite sacrament.

While it's supposedly a mere ritual, I personally believe that a change truly happens when on is baptized.

Even in precious little babies.

All of my children have fabulous godparents.
I feel it is an important role to undertake.

I was honored when I was asked to be godmother to this sweet baby, Jane.

And thankful to her parents for blessing me with this role.

What an honor! We had a difficult time picking our boys' godparents, but in the end, made four people extremely happy, and I feel good about who we chose.

She's an adorable baby and what a gorgeous christening gown!

Jane is absolutely beautiful, and what an honor for you.

I agree with you - there is a difference between a sacrament and a mere ritual.

So what exactly is the role of a godparent? I've always wondered.

I whole heartedly agree with you. The ritual of baptisim is a very important one. It signifies so much in my religion. It is the gateway back to heaven.
I am excited that you have gotten the chance to be a godmother. I think that it would be a very wonderful thing.
(In my religion we don't have godparents, but I always wanted one like my friends)
