My adorably silly kindergartner begged me to get him a tie for his Chapel uniform.
(Ties aren't mandatory until 3rd grade.)

So, I obliged and got him one. Now he says he looks just like Daddy and Granddaddy.
Except that he no longer wants to wear it.
Because it's too tight around his neck!

lol - so begins the battle of the tie.
Harry and Ben are the same, they will wear ties to play in, but the second ties are required (christmas, easter, baptisms, etc) all of the sudden the ties are instruments of torture and I am the cruel and heartless mother.

He looks so grown up in a tie! I always thought it was crazy for guys to start their day with a noose around their necks, no matter how nice it looks :)

That first picture is SO cute! He looks so handsome and grown up! That sounds just like Henry though....they beg and beg for something and then when you give in they decide they don't really want it after all!

OH my gosh! He looks so cute and grown up! At least he wore it once! Alex has never worn a tie and probably never will...Dan doesn't like them either! What a cutie!

That is so cute and so funny! I have one son who will NOT wear a tie for anything! And another who will wear it with anything! Really, even polo shirts! It looks strange but I just let him wear it - I pick my clothing battles for when I really need to win!!!
