PSF and growing up

Last week, as we celebrated Charlie's first birthday, I thought about what a different a year makes in the lives of small children.

A few weeks ago, Melody celebrated her friend, Kate's, third birthday.

Here she is at Kate's party, waiting patiently for her chocolate iced cupcake, Kate's favorite. Notice her cute ponytail poking out of her princess crown.
She wastes no time diving right in, starting at the top where the good stuff is.
Can I have another one?

What a change from Kate's party last year!

She has so much more hair now, don't you think?
(Oh yeah, and she's a little bit neater too!)

She's thinned out a lot too! I love watching how much kids change in such a short time. It really is a miracle.

I love when kids really enjoy thier food. What a beautiful little girl, even when she's messy. It is so sad when they leave the baby stage behind.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.

How adorable!

What's funny is that the 2nd thing I noticed(the 1st being how stinkin' cute she is with her little pony tail sticking out the top of her princess crown...I'm SUCH a girl Mom!) was that she did not have one smear of chocolate anywhere on her stark white shirt. Amazing! No way could, make that can, my girls pull off that feat!

Cute pictures:-)
