PSF and the race

My husband signed us up for the Warrior Dash last weekend.

If you don't already know what it is, it's an approximately 3 mile race will all kinds of obstacles.

It was fun.

And muddy.

And at the end, we got medals and warrior hats.

I did not voluntarily wear mine.

I finished in 27:19, which was #87 out of 405 women in my age group
and #400 overall out of 2100 women.
Alex was so nice and stayed with me, even though I knew he could have done better than I did.
He's already ready to sign us up for next year.

Are you a warrior?

No..I am not a warrior, but I am a good supporter. Go for it. Do it again next year. See? I am a good supporter. Great job though. Love the hats and coming in #87 out of 405 is awesome. I would have been 406 out of 405. LOL

Girl - you are a warrior. I don't run unless some big and hairy is chasing me. And if he's cute, I'm slowing down. Just saying.

Congrats! And you totally rocked that hat I might add. Can't wait to see a picture of that little chunk Charlie wearing it -- oh!

Awesome! Way to go!
I live in Warrior - does that make me a warrior? : ) Hee Hee

Holy crap. Yeah, that would be muddy. LOL

Congrats on the awesome finish. I so wish I liked to run. I absolutely despise it.

That is awesome! You two look so cute together. And congrats on the fabulous finish! WOW!

My hubby and I ran together for the first time last week in a 4 mile fundraiser. I usually don't like running with a partner (or in groups) but I had so much fun! Definitely something I would like to do more of as a couple. :)

I have never heard of the Warrior Dash -- very cool!

I would do this in a heartbeat.

You didn't strike me as the crawl-around-in-the-mud kind of girl.

I stand corrected and in admiration of your proud warrior spirit.

And your goofy hat (what's it made out of -- the hide of a Muppet?)

What are you going to with the hat?

I signed up for the Warrior dash here in my city and then chickened out! I'm quite sure I would have been stomped and trampled. Anyway, I'm thinking of doing it next year...one of my girlfriends did it and loved it. I don't see love for me, but I'll try it once!

Besides the medal and rockin hat, we also received free beers at the end. You failed to mention that. Maybe the beer wasn't a huge highlight for you, but I sure enjoyed it.

I've never heard of this before.

Curious though? The white shirt? You wanted everybody to know how muddy you got!

Congrats on your placing. I can't run unless it's to save my life!

That is AWESOME! My sister in law drove down from Oklahoma City to participate in the Warrior Dash. I head she had a blast too... jumping over fire?

87 out of 405 is definitely something to brag about!
