Tuesday my youngest brother, Andy, left for Costa Rica for a year.
After graduating college in December
he got a job teaching English at Glory Christian School in Heredia.
He has the awesome opportunity to spend a year immersing himself in another culture, teaching children, and sharing the Gospel.
Before he left, he came over here to visit.
And entertained us with his awesome talent
(can you believe that's just him playing around!?)

and provided some good dance music for Melody while playing my favorite song for me!

My best of luck to him!
That is so neat! I'm sure he will have an awesome time in Costa Rica! Apparently I need to learn how to play the guitar...Charlie sat there and listened to him for more than a minute without moving:) I wish I could get that to happen at my house!
She was jamming! So cute. Sounds like that will be an amazing opportunity for him.

He is talented.
It looked like Charlie really like the music and Melody was so cute jumping all around.
BUT...my favorite part was when your hubby picked her up and danced with her. Aww!!
Wow, how I wish I could play the guitar that well! Very cool.
And as for the Costa Rica opportunity -- this will be a defining moment in his life. It will change him for the better. Stepping out of yourself, and serving others, for the sake of the gospel and the betterment of their lives, is a very rich experience.
Good luck to him!
Very cool! I hope he has a wonderful experience! A friend of ours is thinking of going back there this summer. :)

And, Melody was gettin' dowwwwn! And, then, when Alex picked her up and started dancing...AWWWWW! I think the very last when she hugged him just melted my heart.
That is so cool! And what a fabulous experience for him. :)
What an amazing opportunity! I'm sure he'll be greatly missed.
A job in Costa Rica huh? That is pretty cool. Glad he came to spend time and share his talents before he left!
He looks like he really enjoys his music. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure he will have a great time teaching.
He is very talented. And little miss Melody is pretty good at dancing too. :) I just loved Charlies little smiling face when he was watching his uncle.
Best of luck to your brother in his new job.
How I wish I could play the guitar! She is too cute dancing around. Congrats and best wishes to your brother! Sounds like you guys are going to need a webcam. :)

Congratulations to your brother. May he find the path he is taking to be friendly with him.
Have a nice weekend, Emily. :)
I hope he has a wonderful year. What a great thing for him to do.
Darn it, my volume button thingy is not working!!!!!!!!! Aargh.
What an amazing opportunity!
And I so wish I could hear him. I had to laugh at Julie's comment above, because my INTERNAL volume thingy is ALWAYS broke, LOL (oh come on, that was funny and you know it :)
Keep us posted!
And umm... how did that happen??? I though I WAS following you. Turns out I was just checking in often, haha.
So now I'm officially following, whoo hoo!
My son was mesmerized watching him play. He's very very good. Good luck to him on this adventure. What an awesome experience!
Wow! That was just messing around! It was incredible!
I love how melody and Charlie were dancing along to the music.
I come from a family that is VERY muiscally inclined. All of them have perfect pitch, except me, I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket if my life depended on it. Oh well, just means I appreciate the music all the more!
This experience will be a huge thing for the rest of his life. If he can completely immurse himself in the gospel and help spread it he will be changed for the better.
Wow, he IS talented!
