Last week, as we celebrated Charlie's first birthday, I thought about what a different a year makes in the lives of small children.
A few weeks ago, Melody celebrated her friend, Kate's, third birthday.
Here she is at Kate's party, waiting patiently for her chocolate iced cupcake, Kate's favorite. Notice her cute ponytail poking out of her princess crown.
She wastes no time diving right in, starting at the top where the good stuff is.
Can I have another one?
What a change from Kate's party last year!
She has so much more hair now, don't you think?
(Oh yeah, and she's a little bit neater too!)

That is adorable! I love her face in the first pic!
But what happened to the chinese food?
There is nothing better than messy face pictures! Love it!
So cute and yeah, just a little bit neater. ;)
Change? What change?
Okay, totally kidding...I guess her hair is a little bit longer now:)
Very cute!! Love the cupcakes. Did you bake them? I love making my own chocolate frosting with bakers chocolate. Yummy!!
She's thinned out a lot too! I love watching how much kids change in such a short time. It really is a miracle.
OMG...so cute!!! The first picture cracks me up...she looks so serious! HA!
I like the new pics on your header too!
She is adorable. Wow she has changed alot, gosh darnit they grow up way too fast.
She's like a TOTALLY different kid!
SO cute! And I used to do my daughters (lack of) hair like that, too! ;-)Thanks for partaking in PSF!
They change so much that first year! You have to love pictures of little ones and cupcakes!
So cute! What a sweet chocolatey face!
Oh so, so cute! Love her chubby legs last year! She's too adorable and such a neat eater now :) Great pictures of your Princess! Have a great weekend!
I love it. Your pictures seem to really show her personality.
She's adorable with that little pony tail. Oh I can't wait until my baldy has hair! :)
I love her cute cheesy grin with the cupcake! She must've really enjoyed it!
So cute! I love that last picture and her cute little ponytail in the first one too!!
Awwwww! Cute as ever! I love her little piggie and the cute little crown.
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
Adorable. And she's still a cake lover!
I love when kids really enjoy thier food. What a beautiful little girl, even when she's messy. It is so sad when they leave the baby stage behind.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.
love the little wispy hair - my kids were pretty much bald until age 3!
there's nothin' like a chocolate-smeared baby belly! I'm looking forward to ours next year :)
LOL, I love last years picture. Thats enjoying some cupcakes right there.
I also think her little pony tail is just adorable.
I just love how kids enjoy their food and get it all over themselves. It's so dang cute!
fun story. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
So cute! You have a very sweet princess.
What a cutie pie. I always loved those little fuzzy top pony tails.
I just don't think there is anything more adorable than that chocolate-y tummy! So sweet!!
Mrs. Nurse Boy
Lover her wearing those beads! LOVE IT! we have some and Jayden always puts them on. Happy Birthday!
Ya gotta love the little pony tail poking out! too cute!
Oh yeah they grow up fast. Too fast for my comfort!!
How funny! I love bald babies!
How adorable!
What's funny is that the 2nd thing I noticed(the 1st being how stinkin' cute she is with her little pony tail sticking out the top of her princess crown...I'm SUCH a girl Mom!) was that she did not have one smear of chocolate anywhere on her stark white shirt. Amazing! No way could, make that can, my girls pull off that feat!
Cute pictures:-)
