2 years ago today...

My bloggy friend, Heidi at Blue Eyed Blessing tagged me to play in a little game.

What were you doing 2 years ago to this very day (or at least as close as you can get)?

Well, this is kind of a no-brainer for me and you can probably guess what I was doing especially if you read my last post!

I was celebrating Jack's 3rd birthday!

We had a pool party in our backyard and it was a blast!
Sweet little Melody was 4 months.

This picture just cracks me up (haha!). Jack showed crack the entire time, not just when he was bending over. I kept hiking his bathing suit up and it just kept slipping right back down. I finally just had to take a picture.
Opening a John Deere present. Do his friends know what he likes or what!?
Blowing out the candles on some birthday cupcakes. I thought I was pretty creative putting Swedish Fish on top of cupcakes for kind of a pool theme...then I joined the blogging world and I realized how creative some people really could be! *cough* *Heidi* *cough*!
I remember what a fun party that was. Just the right number of kids and everyone got along and had a good time. Our house went under contract that same weekend, and we moved into our current house just about a month later. Jack's 3rd birthday party was the last celebration we had in that house; the first house Alex and I bought together.

It's my job to tag a few people to play along now.

My friend Lauren tagged me in a fun game. Since I also am borderline obsessed with love purses, I decided to play along.

Ok, here are the rules;

1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are (using) today - not last weekend when you and your hubby went out to that fabulous restaurant. No cheating!!!

Ahhh...the purse. I love this purse. I love the boutique where I got it from even more. It's an Amy Katherine bag. I can't remember exactly how much it cost, but I think somewhere around $80. There's lots of other purses there I like. You know my birthday is coming up (hint hint). It's a big one too...I mean, you only turn 24 once, right?

My new bloggy friend, Pam, at Twenty Little Piggies tagged me! This is my 1st time being tagged and I'm excited to play along!

This seems like a pretty straightforward game with the rules being only~

So, the number I chose is 4 mainly because it's always been my favorite number.

I love my family to pieces. My husband is fabulous and my kids are as cute and as sweet as can be...what more can I ask for?

I love my Auburn Tigers. Even when they don't win at football.

I love shopping. Everyone who knows me knows this is true!

I love the whole experience of going to see a movie. And even if the movie isn't that great, as long as I had a coke and popcorn I'm happy!

once got lost in downtown DC with a friend and drove around for hours before we found our way out. Seriously, I think we actually drove on every state street. It was in high school...I lacked some common sense then.

think ebay is a really cool idea but I totally don't have the patience for it. Same goes for Craigslist.

love to rearrange furniture. Frequently my husband will come home to a rearranged house and it drives him crazy.

am a purse-a-holic. This also drives my husband nuts.

am planning on reading The Little House on the Prarie series with Melody as soon as she turns five. Yes, I love the TV show too. Yes, my family constantly makes fun of me for it.
