Treasure Mountain

A few weeks ago, Uncle Ben flew in from Denver for a visit.

The kids had a blast. Especially when he taught them "Treasure Mountain".

Remember that from camp days?

Treasure mountain, treasure mountain
Four big boulders, a circle and a dot

Spiders crawling up your back, spiders crawling down your back

One here, one there, now they're crawling in your hair.

Egg splat, water falling down your back
Tight squeeze, cool breeze,
now you've got the shiveries!

I never went to camp. :( I don't know this one. Adorable pics just the same, though.

I don't remember that one...but it looks like they had fun with uncle Ben! Charlie is getting so big! Eli doesn't even look or act like a baby any more...it's kind of sad!

I was like, "WHAT?". We do that as "dot, dot, dot. Dash-dash-dash. A biiiiig question mark. crack an egg and feel the juice runnnnn down. Tight squeeze, cool breeze, now you've got the....shivers!" LOL

My kids love for me to do that to them.

I love the pics of your kids just sitting there waiting for the shivers!

My variation was criss cross applesauce, spiders climbing up your back, cool breeze, tight squeeze, and now you've got the shivers!

I've never heard that one before... Reminds me of the scene from Something About Mary where the hitchhiker is saying, "You know 27 chipmunks twirling on a branch, eating sunflower's on my uncle's ranch..." (or something like that...) Remember? No? Nevermind.

Adorable pix tho!

Isn't it funny how the most annoying brothers can turn into awesome uncles? Strange, strange, strange. ;-)

Cute pics...I heard a rhyme similar to that when I was a kid, but not exactly.

I'm loving Melody's hair cut...so sassy and cute.
